Alaa Guni

Dr Guni graduated from Kings College London in 2014 with Honours and was awarded the Maurice Wohl prize for General practice. Alaa has also received many commendations for oral surgery, restorative and periodontal care.

Since graduating, Alaa has worked in practices in Berkshire and Oxford where he pursues his passion for patient care. He has further developed his skills in all aspects of dentistry, particularly Periodontology (gum health).

Currently, Alaa is one of a few dentists in the country to on the Specialist Pathway training to be a specialist in gum health and care which he hopes to complete in 2022.

Alaa has a passion for teaching and mentoring the younger generation of dentists to ensure they are fully equipped for the future challenges in dentistry. Hence, he has continued to lecture at university as well as being involved in workshops. Alaa is also a clinical teacher at Guy’s Hospital supervising dental students in providing excellent dental care.
